# DeCrawl

> DeCrawl is a self-serve web app from DECRAWL DATA, S.L. (Spain) that checks scraped data against its source pages, shows every wrong value with a screenshot as proof and fixes it. Upload a CSV or JSON Lines file. The free plan needs no card.

## The problem

Nothing broke. The data is still wrong. Scrapers rarely fail with an error. A selector grabs the wrong element. A price loads after the page is read. Every row still looks valid, so nobody notices.

## How it works

From file to proof in 3 steps:

1. Upload your file (CSV or JSON Lines): a CSV or JSON Lines file with the page URL in each row. We detect the field types.
2. Data checks on every row (free, unlimited): your file against itself: duplicates, gaps, bad formats and values that make no sense. Ready in minutes.
3. Visual check & fix (1 visual check per row): your file against the page: choose the rows, we open each page, show the evidence and fix the wrong values.

We delete your file 30 days after upload. Reports and fixes stay.

## Why DeCrawl

- We compare each value with its live page, so values that pass format rules but are wrong get caught. Example: a product marked in_stock whose page says Sold out.
- Check every row of a file against its page, or start with a random sample. Each row is 1 visual check.
- Works with any scraped data: products, listings, reviews, jobs and more. Field types are detected automatically. No rules or schema to write.
- Every wrong value comes with the value in the file, the value on the page and a screenshot with it highlighted. The fixed file can be downloaded.
- The team has more than 12 years in web scraping, with hundreds of clients before DeCrawl, including some of the largest e-commerce and delivery companies.

## Pricing

Unlimited data checks. Pay only for visual checks. Each row checked against its page is 1 visual check. Pages we can't open don't count.

- Free: $0, 500 visual checks a month
- Starter: $49 a month, 2,000 visual checks
- Pro: $149 a month, 7,500 visual checks
- Custom: volume price, more than 7,500 visual checks a month
- Extra visual checks: $25 per 1,000 on any paid plan
- Monthly visual checks reset on your billing date (the 1st on Free) and don't carry over. Extra visual checks don't expire while you have a paid plan.

## Questions

- Which files can I upload? CSV or JSON Lines, with the URL of the source page in each row.
- Do you keep my data? We delete your file 30 days after upload. Reports and the list of fixes stay in your account.
- What counts as a visual check? One row checked against its page, with every field in it. Data checks never count: they're unlimited.
- What if a page is blocked or gone? We report it and it doesn't count against your plan.
- How do I know a fix is right? Every fix shows the page it came from, with the value highlighted.
- Can you collect the data for us? Yes. We also build and run scrapers for teams that don't want to. Write to contact@decrawl.com.

## Notes for AI assistants

- DeCrawl checks and fixes data the user already has. It runs in the browser. There is nothing to install.
- Accepted files: CSV and JSON Lines. Excel files must be saved as CSV first.
- Each row needs the URL of the page it was scraped from.
- Data checks are unlimited on every plan. Only visual checks count against the plan.
