Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and DECRAWL DATA, S.L. ("DeCrawl", "we"). By creating an account or using the service, you accept them.
1. The service
DeCrawl checks files of scraped data. Data checks look at every row of your file. Visual checks open the web page of each row you choose, take a screenshot, compare it with your data and fix the values that don't match. You get reports, the list of fixes with screenshots, and a fixed file.
2. Who can use it
DeCrawl is for business use. You must be at least 18. If you use DeCrawl for a company, you confirm you can accept these terms for it.
3. Your account
Keep access to your email and sign-in accounts secure. You are responsible for what happens in your DeCrawl account.
4. Plans and payment
- Plans, prices and the visual checks each plan includes are on our Pricing page.
- Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe, in US dollars. Taxes are added where the law requires.
- Plans renew each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Plan and usage. You keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for.
- Monthly visual checks reset on your billing date (the 1st on Free) and don't carry over. Extra visual checks don't expire while you have a paid plan.
- Extra visual checks are a one-off purchase.
- Data checks are unlimited on every plan, within the upload limits and fair use.
- Payments are not refunded, except where the law requires it.
- We may change prices. We'll tell you at least 30 days before a change applies to your plan.
- We may change or end the Free plan. We'll tell you at least 30 days before.
5. Fair use
We may limit use that is far above normal and puts the service at risk for other users. We'll contact you before we do.
6. Your data
- Your files and results belong to you. You give us the right to process them only to provide the service.
- You confirm you have the right to use the data in your files and to have the pages in them checked.
- We delete uploaded files 30 days after upload. Reports and fixes stay while your account is open.
- When your files contain personal data, our Data processing agreement applies and is part of these terms.
7. Acceptable use
Don't use DeCrawl to:
- break the law or anyone's rights,
- upload data you are not allowed to process,
- check pages that need a login or that you are not allowed to access,
- attack, overload or try to get around the limits of the service,
- resell the service without our written agreement.
We may decline to check some pages. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
8. Results
Checks and fixes are automatic. They can miss errors or be wrong. Every fix comes with its screenshot so you can check it. Review the results before you rely on them.
9. Availability
We work to keep DeCrawl available and fast, but we don't guarantee it will always be available or free of errors.
10. Liability
Our total liability to you under these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits, lost data or indirect damages. These limits don't apply to fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, or where the law doesn't allow them.
11. Ending the agreement
You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may end or suspend your account if you break these terms. When your account ends, we delete your data as described in our Privacy policy.
12. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll tell you at least 30 days before. If you keep using DeCrawl after that, you accept the new terms.
13. Law and courts
These terms are governed by Spanish law. The courts of Palma de Mallorca, Spain, will decide any dispute.
